This non-profit organisation caters to individuals living with HIV/AIDS, unemployed community members, handicapped individuals, epileptics, individuals with multiple disabilities such as stroke and accident victims. Learners at the centre are required to assist as far as their abilities allow them to. Here two of the centre's members assist in some gardening and preparation to make the outside area a afer place for physically disabled learners. This centre, located in a poor area in Johannesburg, empowers and develops people with disabilities by providing the following: Employment and career opportunities Education appropriate for each learner’s level of understanding and capacity Skills training and development Care and supervision Recreation and Sport Improvement of quality of life A sense of dignity and independence A safe and stimulating environment for the disabled The much loved centre has been repainted, but still requires a lot of repair work. Learning activities include gardening skills, confectionary skills, welding and needlework. Some of the products produced by the learners will be for sale to the general public. The centre also accepts contract work from businesses , although this needs to be simple it does keep the individuals occupied and they do get paid for any contract work they complete. TCM assisted the centre with a much needed financial donation.
